Mission and Values

Our History

Vail Valley Soccer Club (VVSC) began in 1989 as a result of the efforts of a group of local parents with a desire to bring competitive soccer to the Vail Valley. Due to the enormous growth of both the population in Eagle County and the popularity of soccer nationwide, VVSC grew from four recreational teams at its inception to twelve teams in 1994. After this successful introduction to and interest from the community; a competitive division, which provided two seasons (rather than the previous one), was created in 1995 for those athletes seeking advancement and a higher level of competition. Now entering its 22nd season, the Vail Valley Soccer Club has a total of 23 competitive teams and 4 recreational team with over 450 athletes ranging in age from 8-18 years of old.
