Volunteers NEEDED!

Vail Valley Cup Vail Valley Soccer Club DATE: October 3-4   We are still in need of volunteers in the following areas: Thursday or Friday night before the event: Field marshal tub assemblers Lunch Makers   Friday afternoon/evening: Facilities setup    Saturday & Sunday:  Concessions Workers Field marshal rovers    PLEASE REMEMBER!   Volunteer Requirements:            Every family is expected to contribute a minimum of 2-3 hours of time volunteering for the VVSC each year.  These hours can be served during the tournament in October or scheduled through the VVSC office throughout the year.      The Tournament is our largest source of income and we need everyone's help for it to be a success. The Board discussed charging 1/2 of the $150 fee if you have not completed atleast 2 hours of volunteer time by 11/1 to the credit card we have on file for your player.    Please contact  your team managers with your availability

Vail Valley Soccer Club could not survive without the incredible support of our volunteers! In fact, the annual Vail Valley Cup tournament requires literally hundreds of volunteers to be a successful event.

VVSC asks that each family donate just a small portion of time to help our organization with the tournament and other administrative duties throughout the year.

12. VOLUNTEERS
12.1. Volunteer Opportunities:
12.1.1. Team Managers are needed for each team to help organize and communicate between players, families and coaches. Team Managers are volunteers who support the Team Coach of one team.
12.1.2. VVSC Board Members serve a one or two year term on the Board of Directors which meets monthly to steer the Club and oversee operations. Board Members will be credited 25% of one child’s player fee each season.
12.1.3. Assistant Coaches can provide support to Team Coaches at training sessions and games to execute drills and manage players or as a substitute in the Team Coach's absence. Assistant Coaches are volunteers who support the Team Coach of one team. They may be parents or aspiring team coaches.
12.1.4. Office support is needed throughout the year with mailings, cleaning, and general organization.
12.1.5. Tournament Volunteers are used at every field throughout the Vail Valley over the tournament weekend as Field Marshals.
12.1.6. Committee Members are needed for Tournament, Public Relations, Budget & Financial Development, Referees, Programs & Coaching, and Facilities & Equipment Committees. These volunteers will be credited $50 towards one child’s player fees.
12.2. Volunteer Requirements:
12.2.1. Every family is expected to contribute a minimum of 2-3 hours of time volunteering for the VVSC each year. These hours can be served during the tournament in October or scheduled through the VVSC office throughout the year.
12.2.2. Families that do not complete a minimum of 2-3 hours of volunteering at any point in time throughout the year (June-May) will be assessed a $150 fee at the end of the spring soccer season. This fee will be charged to a credit card on file, which must be provided by the family at the time of registration. Families will also have the ability to “opt-out” of required volunteer hours, by paying the $150 fee prior to the start of the fall soccer season.
